Owner Seth Kevorkian would often spend time in the wood shop at the makers space, ending his creative session with a beer from next door. When that brewery closed, he saw an exciting opportunity to open up his own brewery in the space – right in the heart of downtown Greensboro. Did you know "Greensboro" is named after Revolutionary War hero, Nathanial Greene? "My idea was let's name [the brewery] Nathanial Green – but that really wasn't marketable. So we changed Nathanial to "Natty," still paying homage to the namesake of our city," explains President and Owner Chris Lester.
